Jaisalmer — the Golden City — is the westernmost destination in our Rajasthan portfolio. The sandstone fort rises 76 m above the surrounding Thar Desert, and unlike most Indian forts, it’s still inhabited (~4,000 residents inside the walls). Sunset views from the ramparts turn the entire city gold.
The Sam Sand Dunes (42 km from town) deliver the classic Rajasthan camel-safari-and-desert-camp experience. Jaisalmer is a request-only destination for Vacanza Go — typically combined with Jodhpur and Udaipur for a 5-7 day Rajasthan circuit. Message us for custom planning.
