Om Parvat
The mountain face in Pithoragarh district where snow naturally forms the Sanskrit syllable 'ॐ' (Om). Visible from Nabhidhang viewpoint.
Om Parvat is the mountain face in Pithoragarh district — visible from the Nabhidhang viewpoint near the Lipulekh pass — where the natural snow deposit forms a near-perfect representation of the Sanskrit syllable ‘ॐ’ (Om). It’s one of the most photographed sacred mountains in India.
Reaching the viewpoint requires the same approach as Adi Kailash — Pithoragarh → Dharchula → Gunji → Nabhidhang — and the two are almost always done together as a single 7-9 day Kumaun pilgrimage. Inner Line Permits required; we handle the entire process.
